Description

Matcha may still be a well-kept secret to the general public, but it is the fastest-spreading powdered green tea, used as an ingredient for creating the most nutritious and Detox beverages in the world.

You can find it either as a tasty Latte or as a nutrient-rich Juice. Making it the richest product in nutritional values worldwide!

Matcha has been around for 900 years as a well-kept secret among the sophisticated, nutritionally valuable traditional products in China and Japan.

Buddhist monks are responsible for spreading the knowledge and culture of tea. After completing their training in China and India, they returned having acquired the benefits of Matcha as their primary knowledge, long before common green tea appeared in the form we know today.

Through this long-term use of Matcha by the monks, it became globally known as the SUPER-valuable natural medicine for good health, wellness, and longevity.

What is Matcha

Matcha is a fine powder made from 100% carefully selected (tencha quality) green tea leaves, ground on granite stones, without any other processing.

Compared to other matcha, Matcha Ninja cultivates the tea plants very carefully, and the secret is that it grows them in a shaded area three weeks before harvesting, increasing chlorophyll and antioxidant levels. The selection process is meticulous, as not only the appropriate leaf is collected, but it is also carefully separated from stems and leaf veins, improving quality and making it less bitter than any other matcha without any added substances or sugar.

Matcha Ninja has been chosen among many taste tests as one of the best quality, least bitter in taste, and the most easily soluble matcha in the world. It is one of the few products worldwide that has the honor of being evaluated as a 100% Organic product with triple certification from USDA, CANADA Organic, and the EU.

Key Differences from Regular Green Tea

Matcha Ninja has 12 times the nutritional values of any other green tea and up to 137 times the antioxidant properties of green tea!

One cup of Matcha Ninja is equivalent to 10 cups of green tea in nutritional values and antioxidant properties. The secret lies in the fact that with Matcha, you actually consume the entire tea leaf, whereas with regular green tea, you only consume the extract from the boiled water.

The Matcha Ninja tea bushes grow in a specially protected shaded area, aiming for their foliage to maintain even higher levels of chlorophyll and amino acid components.

What Matcha Offers Us

Its Nutritional Values

Source of Antioxidants

Boosts the immune system, slows aging, and helps combat cancer cells.

According to the latest official study by the Journal of Agricultural Food Chemistry, the following foods were found to have impressive levels of antioxidants in ORAC measurement units per gram:

1g Matcha Ninja = 500g Spinach
130 times more Calcium than regular tea and
172 times the amount of Protein than regular tea

Boosts Calorie Burning & Metabolism

In a recent study by the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, it was found that the consumption of Matcha can increase the rates of thermogenesis (the levels of conversion of fat/calories into energy) from the daily calorie burn that ranges from 8%-10%, reaching a spectacular 35%-43% of daily burn without causing any side effects or "pressure" on the body.
Matcha has zero calories and is often used by nutritionists to support diets and nutritional programs, providing the necessary energy, endurance, balancing the body's needs for nutrients, and boosting metabolism.
Additionally, in a recent measurement, it has been proven that Matcha improves the body's endurance duration by 24%.

Detox & Rich in Vitamins

Chlorophyll is the main element of green tea. Matcha, due to its raw nature and the quality of its leaves, is the most potent form of detoxification, helping the body to cleanse from chemicals and metals.
Matcha is carefully collected only from the young tips of tea leaves, where they have completed their final stage of growth in a shaded area, maintaining the highest levels of chlorophyll compared to any other green tea, making it a daily beverage for Superior detox, Strong Immune System, and daily Well-being.
The way Matcha powder is consumed as a beverage in tea or as an ingredient in juices contains many more nutrients and vitamins such as Vitamin A, E, and Beta Carotene, compared to other tea where only its extract is ultimately consumed, losing many of the nutrients.

The Useful Caffeine

Green tea contains caffeine. However, 1 gram of Matcha contains approximately 20-35mg of caffeine, whereas a simple instant coffee contains up to 80-100mg.
Additionally, the caffeine in Matcha combined with L-Theanine creates high concentration and mental clarity and balance, as opposed to coffee which causes irritability, palpitations, and a feeling of anxiety.
The difference between the caffeine in Matcha and coffee is that it provides the same energy boost much more smoothly to the body for about 4-6 hours, unlike coffee which lasts for less than 1 hour.

The balance of L-Theanine

It is one of the main ingredients of green tea. It promotes relaxation of the body without causing drowsiness while presenting benefits for the nervous system.
It has the ability to activate the production of alpha brain waves and reduce beta waves, resulting in promoting good mood and emotional stability (which is why it was used by Buddhist monks). It is considered useful in cases of anxiety, stress, worry, and irritability.
It enhances memory and learning ability.

Usage

Matcha Ninja is a concentrated powder and all you need is up to ½ teaspoon (1g) per serving.

Step 1: Add up to ½ tsp of Matcha Ninja to ½ cup of tea with cold or hot water.
Step 2: Stir until well dissolved (use a spoon - electric mixer - whisk)
Step 3: Enjoy it plain by adding as much water as you like (cold or hot)
Step 4: Add ½ tsp of Matcha Ninja to your favorite healthy recipe and MIX IT into any flavor of Juices, Smoothies you desire, even in Cupcakes or Organic Cookies.

It does not alter or overpower any other flavor!

Its feature is that you can use and add it everywhere!
It is so easy to carry with you wherever you go, it does not require any special utensils and has no special storage requirements.

Easily soluble, with a good taste.
I consider it to be one of the best culinary in terms of taste, but not ceremonial grade.
Its color is not a dark green like the good ceremonial ones, it is a slightly lighter shade with a hint of greenish-yellow, as shown in the photo I provided.

You can find much better matcha at a much more affordable price. Not satisfied at all with this purchase, it wasn't worth even 15 out of the 30€ I bought it for.

I don't know if all the company's matcha are like this in general, but the color was oxidized and faded, not something you would find in ceremonial matcha where the color is more vibrant and lively green

Overall, I like it and I add a lot of honey (I haven't tried any other to have a comparison of course). However, it is definitely not as ceremonial grade as it claims, as its color is not only shiny green, more like deep oil with brown tones.

It is a truly good matcha tea, the easiest to dissolve and with the mildest/sweetest flavor out of all the ones I have tried. It is labeled as ceremonial grade, something that is missing from other products on the market, which claim to be premium or even nothing at all!
The downside is, of course, its price, although it will last for a long time. Lastly, its color is somewhat dull, a muted green, and I read that this surprises some people who are used to matcha with a more vibrant and intense green color... I don't know if this means anything, though, regarding its distinction as ceremonial grade and something inferior.
