This little machine has an "identity crisis". It doesn't really know what it is - a laptop or a tablet. By name, it is a tablet, with Windows S operating system (thankfully, it can quickly transition to Windows 10). But it was probably born as a laptop that wanted to shrink at some point because tablets became trendy. The other tablets on the market at the same price range (always with keyboard and pen) that compete with it will run either iOS or Android, which run them much better than this one.
However, for me, who needs Windows, it does my job quite well with the two (extra) accessories, but when it comes to the tablet and entertainment environment (Netflix, games, YouTube, IPTV), it falls short, and quite significantly. The processor lags, the battery drains quickly, and it becomes frustrating because I spent an extra 300 euros to buy the much more complete and balanced Surface Pro.
Other than that, all the Microsoft applications are here (especially Office with Excel and Word) and they work very well, opening two or three workbooks simultaneously, while the more expensive iPad Pro could only open one file and you had to close the previous one to open the next.
Overall, for a slightly smaller and portable laptop with limited tablet use, it is good. But with this logic, at the price of 700-800 euros, including the keyboard and pen, why wouldn't someone buy a regular laptop or even get the amazing value for money iPad Air of 2019?
Personally, for what I'm looking for (low weight, practicality, 10-11" screen, processor speed, entertainment combined with work), I lean towards the iPad Pro of 2020, which is indeed expensive and has weaknesses in properly collaborating with Google Drive and Microsoft Office, but at least it is a very balanced machine with decent performance. The accessories that work with the Surface Go (I also bought the mouse along with the keyboard and pen) have excellent performance and are highly recommended. On the other hand, they are excessively expensive, which increases the overall cost of ownership to high levels. Overall, a failed purchase.

The best for a Windows 10 tablet. When combined with the pen and keyboard, it provides even greater enjoyment, although it is perfect on its own. I use it daily and use it for almost everything. It doesn't play heavy games, but that's not its purpose. The battery life is excellent.

Update: After a year of continuous use, the touch screen started having issues. Luckily, I was still under warranty, so I took it to the store where I bought it, and after a week, they informed me and I went and got a brand new one. Complete replacement. Microsoft has amazing support.

With great hesitation, I bought this specific product which, however, is amazing. Firstly, you should know that it is primarily a small laptop and secondly, it is a tablet. I wanted the portability of a tablet and the ability to have Dropbox and access specific programs that only run on Windows. Basically, it is a tool for my work. It is fast enough for what I need, although it occasionally has some minor glitches, but not to the extent that you wouldn't want to use it. I imagine that if someone wants to do 4K video rendering and other more demanding tasks, it is not suitable for them. But I believe for those who work in office jobs and have a simple computer at their office or home to do their work, it will cover their needs 100%. Its battery is not perfect, but it is not bad either, lasting around 5-6 hours of use. The build quality is impeccable, and the price, now including the keyboard which you definitely need to get, is around 750 euros. It is a bit pricey, but what you are paying for is the portability and good build quality. Maybe it would be easier to spend that money if it had a slightly faster processor and a slightly larger battery, but if you think about the fact that there are mobile phones that cost 1,500 euros, then this tablet seems like a value for money option.

--update 16-03-2020 After the latest updates from Microsoft, some glitches that occurred with the file explorer when working with the SD card have been fixed. Google Chrome (with 10-15 tabs open) runs smoothly and overall, the tablet has been upgraded and is much faster. I haven't encountered any problems and for the tasks I perform (Dropbox, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoints, PDF, AutoHotkey, mail, Chrome), it works flawlessly. It would be perfect if the battery lasted an hour or two longer. Well done, Microsoft.
