Maltitol is a natural substance and not chemistry. However, it can cause intestinal disturbances. It is good for everyone to know what they eat and if it bothers them. The same possible side effects are also present in xylitol, erythritol, etc. A decent product for the purpose it serves, namely the Dukan diet.

The texture is like glue, the taste is pure chemistry and it doesn't remind me of hazelnut praline at all. But the worst part is not that, since taste is a matter of preference and subjective. The worst thing I experienced is that consuming a small amount, 1 spoonful, caused me several stomach disturbances, bloating, and intestinal discomfort. It was also tried by a second person with the same results. I believe it is a side effect from the combination of multiple artificial sweeteners. So, be cautious in general.

It's a shame that it doesn't come in a large jar
