It is an excellent castor oil, just not organic so it is not suitable for making compresses. Now Foods has the corresponding bio version but it is not available in Greece (yet). It is excellent for hair and body as a simple but deep moisturizer. For compresses, it needs to be organic, cold pressed, and hexane free. I only found it from 7elements. Be careful, the material for the compresses also needs to be good organic cotton and not cheap imitation cotton fabrics because the chemicals pass into the body along with the castor oil. The texture of this one is extremely thick and requires good massage for the body and a small amount on the ends of the hair. It stains, but comes out immediately in the washing machine. Price to quantity ratio - very good.
