What is fear? We try to learn what is the truth of this question of fear so absolutely that the mind never fears, therefore it is free from all dependence on others, internally, psychologically. The beauty of freedom is that it leaves no trace. The eagle in its flight leaves no trace; the scientist does. Exploring this question of freedom, there must be not only scientific observation but also the flight of the eagle that leaves no trace at all. Both are needed. There must be both verbal explanation and non-verbal perception - because the description is never the reality being described. The explanation is never what is being explained. The word is never the thing.
