The Uni-T UT118B digital multimeter measures AC and DC voltage up to 300 V, resistance up to 30 MΩ, and capacitance up to 3 mF. Automatic parameter recognition selects the measurement without manually changing the range, while the EF function detects voltage without contact.

The LCD measures 28 x 14 mm and features a backlight. The multimeter includes data hold, MAX/MIN, diode test, and audible continuity functions, as well as a low battery indicator. It switches off automatically after approximately 10 minutes of inactivity.
