This book consists of two parts. In Part A ("Theoretical Principles"), the theoretical foundations of the Project teaching method are presented: its conceptual boundaries, its theoretical bases, and its teaching principles, the role of the educator implementing the method, research results on the benefits of applying the method, both in Primary and Secondary Education, and the modern Curricula that support the method.
In Part B ("Practical Application"), the practical difficulties that may arise during its implementation are initially presented, a detailed application guide, recommended tools for the student assessment stage (portfolio and rubrics), a checklist for the overall organization and design of the method, a brief reference to the teaching of literature, and finally the two proposed examples.
The first example concerns the implementation of an interdisciplinary project in kindergarten, starting from a fairy tale. The second example takes place in the course of Modern Greek Literature in the first year of high school, which, according to the P.S. (2011), is taught using the Project method.
