This book is a translation dictionary of technical terms and is aimed at Civil Engineers, students of Polytechnic and Technical Schools, translators of technical texts, and technical companies operating in the broader construction sector in the Russian Federation. 

The dictionary is the result of the authors' systematic research and the final compilation of Russian and Greek technical terms that they gathered from dozens of technical, printed and electronic dictionaries, books, and online sources. In addition to the units related to the "science" of Civil Engineering, emphasis is also placed on related topics of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, as well as issues of project safety. 

The purpose of the dictionary, which includes almost 8,000 technical and scientific terms, is to assist Civil Engineers, students, and researchers in their efforts to approach and utilize as many sources of information as possible from the inexhaustible reservoir of Russian literature. We also hope to fill a serious gap in the field of Greek-Russian and Russian-Greek technical dictionaries.
