Description

In today's world, the security of your confidential data is of utmost importance. Imagine losing your personal files, leaving them on a train or in the back of a taxi, knowing that anyone could access them because they were stored on a conventional hard drive. Now, the Store 'n' Go Secure with Keypad Access is here for your peace of mind. The AES 256-bit Hardware Encryption automatically encrypts all data on the drive in real-time with an integrated keypad for password entry. The hard drive does not store passwords in the computer or system memory, making it much more secure than software encryption. Also, if it falls into the wrong hands, the hard drive will lock and require reformatting after 20 failed password entry attempts. Compatible with both PC and Mac operating systems, the hard drive's interface is USB 3.1 GEN 1 with a USB-C connection for ultra-fast data transfer speeds. The package includes a USB-C to USB-A cable as well as a USB-A to USB-C adapter for connection to various devices. It can also connect to TVs, a feature not possible with regular encrypted hard drives.

This review is about the capacity: 1000 GB

When connected to a Mac computer, it is slower than a turtle. It is the worst external hard drive I have ever seen. After 1 year of dysfunctional use, today it doesn't recognize it at all. It may not be suitable for Mac use, but it should be mentioned.
