The best boot for tough use, of course, it is not as comfortable as trail running shoes, but when conditions require it, such as mud, a little snow, cold, rain, etc., there is nothing more reliable than Meindl and the Island boots are one of their best. Η καλύτερη αρβύλα για σκληρή χρήση, φυσικά δεν είναι άνετη σαν τα αθλητικά για trail, αλλά όταν οι συνθήκες το απαιτούν, δηλαδή: λάσπη, λίγο χιόνι, κρύο, βροχές κλπ δεν υπάρχει κάτι πιο σίγουρο απο Meindl και τα Island είναι αν όχι το καλύτερο, απο τα καλύτερα μποτάκια τους. Το νούμερο ίσως είναι λίγο μεγαλύτερο απο το αναμενόμενο, αλλά με χοντρή κάλτσα ανάλογη της χρήσης τους, δεν θα έχετε πρόβλημα. Εγώ φοράω 49.5 σε Nike και πήρα το 50 γιατί δεν βρήκα 49.5... Τα έχω 4 χρόνια με light χρήση βέβαια και είναι σαν καινούργια. Σε νορμαλ συνθήκες προτιμώ αθλητικά trail ή πιο χαμηλό μποτάκι. Τα συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα και ειδικά για δύσβατα, κυνήγια κλπ αξίζουν με το παραπάνω τα χρήματα τους.
