    I have had them for 5 years already, using them every 2 days. ZERO maintenance, it is the only shoe that still hasn't let a drop of water in. I go hunting everywhere and walk a lot on all terrains.

    I have tried other brands in the last 20 years, but AKU is by far the best for me.

    This year, I got tired of them and bought AKU again.

    Comfortable and waterproof, but that's about it. The shoe was worn exclusively for hunting, from early November until February 15th, and it was in this condition. Additionally, the sole wore out and a hole opened up from underneath!!! Excessive wear and tear for only 3.5 months of use and for a shoe that costs two hundred euros. It should be noted that I maintained it properly 5 times during this period. Perhaps for some who will wear it once a week, it will last longer...

The Aku Zenith II GTX men's hiking boots are designed for hiking, hunting and use at high altitudes. Oil-treated Nubuck leather and a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane protect against moisture, while the Bycast tape rand adds protection on rugged terrain.

The Vibram Plume Hiking outsole is designed for AKU and paired with a dual-density EVA midsole. The lacing extends down towards the toes, providing extra stability during extreme movements. AKU's IMS system and the Custom Fit IMS footbed complete the construction.
