The young parrot San Al Sur wakes up in the beautiful Rematia after a difficult and dangerous journey, thousands of miles away from his homeland.

The tropical forest where he grew up has been destroyed by humans and war. Now San Al Sur wishes for a calm and harmonious life with the residents of Rematia, which is initially not easy at all, as most react negatively to his presence.

In his struggles, he will be supported by the kind-hearted and brave magpie, Koko Dekakto, who will immediately take his side. Dynamic and fair, yet equally marginalized by the residents of Rematia, cast out and foreign in her own home, she will defend the parrot until the end.
