The Blokus board game by Mattel is an abstract strategy game for 2–4 players. Players place transparent, colored tetromino-shaped pieces on the board and try to place as many of their own pieces as possible. Each new piece must touch a piece of the same color at a corner only, without their sides touching.
The game includes a one-player variant, in which the player tries to place all their pieces in a single game. The game ends when no player can place any more pieces, and the player with the highest score wins.
