    We used the Hypertonic saline solution 2.2% NaCl, after a pediatrician's recommendation, for my 7-year-old child to relieve his breathing and alleviate his cold symptoms, but as soon as we applied it, after 3 hours he developed allergic symptoms (redness from the waist down) and intense itching! He was treated with a shower in lukewarm water and obviously we did not use it again.
