Description & Specifications

Sakis and Foti are two completely different people, yet they are united by many things, primarily loneliness and confinement. Both live alone in their small nest-like home where they feed their fantasies and memories.

Sakis (“The Last Martha”), a guard at the National Gallery, projects his daydreams onto the convenience store owner across the street, whom he views as the guardian angel of his life, resulting in a variety of adventures that completely change his daily routine.

Foti (“Midnight in a Perfect World”), a writer, is buried in tapes that capture his entire past, “stealing” his younger self to be able to write. Until the source runs dry. His works cease to be successful. Suddenly, he receives an unexpectedly lucrative offer that could change his fate. However, to write, he must watch the only two DVDs he cannot bear to see. Those that reopen the great wound of his life.

Two characters who slip into the duality of fantasy-reality and from the fragments of memory -whether constructed or not- create real circumstances in a burning present.
