I have kept the old one from 1995 since I was a child, but I was glad that it is released as an anniversary edition.
However, I wouldn't pay €300, it is overpriced. There are other options, but I understand the nostalgia of 30+ adults who grew up with it.

On its own, the console doesn't say much. However, anyone who gets involved and turns it into an emulator will truly enjoy it more than any other retro console

The price is excessive for what it offers. Essentially, it is an emulator in a much smaller PS box. The 20 pre-installed games are relatively good choices, with the standout being Tekken, which has seen a lot of play. It comes with 2 controllers, but without a power cable (it can take from a mobile charger) and HDMI.
However, it is worth looking into how to load other titles via USB, for example, with Bleemsync, which is very easy to do and doesn't require any knowledge. For a few games, it handles it easily, so someone could load their favorites that are not offered (e.g., Crash, FIFA, etc.), but for many, it struggles, and this is because the console does not provide enough power to the USB (it goes into the slot instead of the controller) and has difficulty loading it.
In general, there are things they could have done better. The NES Classic would have been a better choice, but unfortunately, it is sold out.

Personally, I had a good experience using the console, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it for €95. At most, it’s worth €40 - €45, not more. Also, it has the controllers without the analog sticks, so some games won't offer as good an experience as they could.

It is a combination of nostalgia and price (30e) that led me to this purchase. Unfortunately, it does not have a variety of games, but from what I have seen, you can add quite a few with a stick.

Well, first of all, it has nothing to do with the authentic chipped PS1 that I have. The build quality of the console is not good at all, as well as the controllers. It cannot play above 670p 50fps, which in my opinion is reasonable because I have heard some say that the console has old games from 1996 and onwards, so they couldn't have the best resolution. Also, the other issue with the games is that it only has 20 pre-installed, and not even with a USB stick or hard drive when plugged in, which is bad because there aren't many games, and of those it has, only a few are worth it. Even if I didn't have the authentic one, I wouldn't pay 100 euros that it cost at first; now I might consider getting it for 40-45 euros that it costs.

The console, if purchased to play without any modification (mod hack), is not worth much given that it will play on a high-definition screen. Now, in case it is purchased and we do a modification, then it is the best; the modification adds not only games but also hidden menus for higher resolution and save states

I got it for 40 euros plus a 64GB USB 2.0 for a total of 50 euros. I entered autobleem, followed the instructions, downloaded another 80 games, and I'm reliving my nostalgia again. As a console, I would say it's worth around 30 euros with what it has inside. But since Sony is clever enough to leave it unlocked and within a few minutes you can add any game you want (without Sony needing to buy rights, I imagine that's how it works), that's quite clever. So it's definitely worth it and then some. I'm going to play Yu-Gi-Oh, Dragon Ball, Need for Speed, C12, etc., now to remember the old games and the old times. If you're buying the console, just add the games.

You can hack it and play any game you want, with a stick that holds about 60 games, from Nintendo Sega etc. up to 32-bit resolution. And you can make the graphics even better. If you download a hack program. And you can also play with the PS4 controller with a special stick that you will find on eBay for 3 or 4 euros.

I didn't give it a 5 because it's ridiculous that they don't include a power supply.. come on Sony.. If you were looking for an original PS1 separately with some of the games it has inside, it would easily go for €50, so at €30 it's vfm!! I haven't tried to hack it yet, but I've seen it's simple... because with this in mind it was purchased, get it in the offer that just came out because only then it's worth it and obviously to install other games on it.. Edit after a while, at least I struggled with the hacking with a USB stick and the games run with a significant slowdown for me. Edit 2, vfm!! With Project Eris, it now takes a USB3 OTG cable for full USB stick compatibility, it has emulation station and you can play NES, SNES, GBA, so even if the price went up, it's worth the purchase!!!

At €30 and with the ability to have almost all PS1, NINTENDO, DREAMCAST, GBA, SEGA, N64 games and any arcade game (MAME) you want in 5 minutes, there is nothing like it.... As a simple console with pre-installed games, it doesn't say much... but the fact that you can load it up... gives it a 10++++ rating.... Simply incredible..... Look for Autobleem, RetroBoot, or Bleemsync on YouTube... Perfect for a gift.... console + a USB stick with the games and both kids and adults can play for days...

I bought it on sale for €30, at this price it is one of the most value-for-money products I have purchased. The controllers are of excellent quality, and the HDMI and micro USB ports seem to be quite durable over time.
€30 for nostalgia with 20 games and 2 controllers is worth it.
As for the hack that allows you to add "unlimited" games, it takes the console to another level.
Two words: BleemSync + OTG Cable (€3.5). You don't need special computer knowledge to make it work. To make it clearer, I've had it for 3 days:
- Day 1 I connected it and saw the games
- Day 2 I played 5-6 games
- Day 3 I added (BleemSync) and now I have over 80 games and I'm still going...

For those who complain that there are few games, know that you can put AS MANY and whatever games you want with a USB flash drive, without tampering with the console and the warranty. Look it up, it's out there. The console is very good for its price now that the price has dropped and a way has been found to play other games besides the pre-installed ones. The build quality is satisfactory and together with its box, it is a beautiful collectible item. That's it!

I've had it for about half a year... I bought it for €60. Now that I see it's being sold for €30, I know I wasted half the money... I've used it a couple of times for about an hour and then it went into the closet... It could definitely support a higher screen resolution... It has something like lag on its own... Three stars instead of 2.5 just for the idea of classic...
