I have had this specific smartwatch for 8 months and coming from the Gear S3, I can say that it was worth the transition. It is truly a one-way street as many have said if you have an iPhone. Syncing takes 5 seconds and all the data is there. It sits very comfortably on the wrist, but you can adjust that with any strap you want.

Now, onto the important stuff. I use it constantly for exercise (gym, running, swimming, jump rope, etc.) and the measurements seem to be consistent. The heart rate readings show a steady pattern on the graph without crazy values, which means it measures accurately, and the calorie counts are at very reasonable levels.

One top feature is the heart rate recovery, which the watch measures on its own and the Gear S3 did not have. Personally, the heart rate monitor has proven to be very useful!

I have tested it on calls via Bluetooth and it works perfectly.

However, I permanently have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS turned off as I like to use it standalone, and it lasts me 3 days with daily 45-minute to 1-hour workouts.

If you have an iPhone, I highly recommend it! You won't regret it.

I mainly got it because I ride a motorcycle. You can wear the AIRPods inside the helmet, answer calls from the watch, and not take out your phone, gloves, etc.
I always keep it in a case, so I don't worry about scratches even though they say it's risky.
If you are an athlete, it is very good for tracking, but you will definitely need to charge it after exercising! The best autonomy I achieved was almost two days, receiving notifications and even responding to messages using voice commands without holding the phone.
The voice recognition is good in Greek, perfect in English!

I have taken calls with open speaker without headphones. If you are outside, you hold it relatively close to hear... but if it's quiet (and outside), you can talk with your hands down and the other person won't realize you're talking from the watch.
Music with AIRPods is perfect! No interruptions, distortions, etc.
Now that I'm not an athlete and I use it as a smartwatch instead of a tracker... there is nothing better. So, I would have preferred the 50mm instead of the 44mm for even better clarity. But I see that this size allows for great wrist mobility, so they probably chose this size for that reason...
It is expensive! You can buy a very good new phone with the same amount of money, but if you need it as a gadget (like how I use it or something similar), you will love it!
It has endless possibilities and it does everything very well.
For specialized sports, you go elsewhere, but you forget about the smartwatch... it's a joke... I see my friends!

Είναι η τέλεια προέκταση ενός iphone. Εμένα προσωπικά με έχει σώσει γιατί δεν χρειάζεται να έχω συνεχώς το κινητό στο χέρι ή να βαραίνει την τσέπη, αφού πλέον το αφήνω στην τσάντα. Οι κλήσεις απαντώνται με απίστευτη ευκολία, μπορώ επίσης να κάνω εύκολα εξερχόμενη κλήση αλλά και να απαντήσω σε γραπτό μήνυμα, με την υπαγόρευση να λειτουργεί άψογα σε sms και imessage. Η υπαγόρευση δεν λειτουργεί σχεδόν καθόλου με το messenger πράγμα που οφείλεται στον προγραμματιστή της εφαρμογής και όχι στο ρολόι.

Σχετικά με τις κλήσεις, δεν περίμενα να έχει τόσο καλή ανοιχτή ακρόαση, πιστεύω πολύ καλύτερη από τα iphone της τελευταίας διετίας. Μπορεί να μην έχει πάρα πολύ καθαρό ηχείο (μην ξεχνάτε ότι είναι μια σταλιά συσκευή) αλλά και ακούς τον συνομιλητή και κυρίως σε ακούει κι αυτός πεντακάθαρα χωρίς να έχεις το ρολόι δίπλα στο στόμα... σα να μιλάς στον ΚΙΤ. Με έχει σώσει στο αυτοκίνητο, δεν αφήνω τα χέρια από το τιμόνι και μιλάω χωρίς πρόβλημα.

Επίσης δεν περίμενα ότι μπορώ να απαντάω σε κλήσεις και να μιλάω κανονικά την ώρα του ντουζ! Το ίδιο και στην κολύμβηση, έχει αλλάξει τον τρόπο που περνάμε τη μέρα μας πλέον στην παραλία.

Όσο περνά ο καιρός ανακαλύπτω και περισσότερες λειτουργίες.

Το ξυπνητήρι του με ξυπνά πολύ πιο αποτελεσματικά από ό,τι το iphone ή άλλη συσκευή καθώς έχει σύστημα δονήσεων στον καρπό.

Βοηθά πολύ στην οδήγηση ο τρόπος που συνεργάζεται με τους χάρτες και το gps του κινητού.

Χρησιμοποιώ σε μόνιμη βάση τον μετρητή παλμών και μπορώ να πω ότι πέφτει μέσα με ακρίβεια, πράγμα που το διασταύρωσα με παράλληλη χρήση πιεσόμετρου.

Όσοι θέλουν να το πάρουν για λόγους υγείας να θυμούνται ότι κάνει δύο πράγματα από μόνο του: μετρά παλμούς και κάνει ηλεκτροκαρδιογράφημα. ΔΕΝ μετρά την αρτηριακή πίεση καθώς για τέτοια μέτρηση πρέπει να αγοράσετε κάποια εξωτερική συσκευή (πχ omron envolve ή κάποιο άλλο αντίστοιχο) η οποία συνδέεται ασύρματα με το κινητό και την εφαρμογή υγείας και μπορείτε εκεί να αποθηκεύετε τις μετρήσεις. Κατά τα άλλα η μέτρηση των παλμών και το ηλεκτροκαρδιογράφημα είναι πολύ σημαντικές λειτουργίες - γι΄αυτό και μην σκεφτείτε να αγοράσετε την γενιά 3 ή κάποιο παλιότερο.

Στην τιμή που είναι σήμερα, κάτω από τα 400€, νομίζω ότι είναι η καλύτερη αγορά wearable που μπορεί να κάνει κάποιος, έχοντας ως δεδομένα σύγκρισης και άλλες non apple συσκευές.

Σχετικά με την μπαταρία: κρατά άνετα 2 μέρες ακόμη και με τη χρήση της μέτρησης παλμών μόνιμα ενεργοποιημένη.

Σχετικά με την αντοχή του: είχα σκεφτεί να αγοράσω προστατευτική θήκη γιατί είμαι απρόσεχτος και το κοπανάω συνέχεια σχεδόν από κάθε πόρτα που περνάω. Μέχρι στιγμής δεν έχει πάθει τίποτα η οθόνη, ούτε γρατσουνιά.

Αφού το αγοράσετε στην απλή εκδοχή του, μπορείτε μελλοντικά να επενδύσετε σε κάποιο φθηνό ή ακριβότερο λουράκι. Θα είναι σα να έχετε πολλά και διαφορετικά ρολόγια.

Περιττό να πω ότι η επικοινωνία του με το iphone είναι αψεγάδιαστη και η μία συσκευή συμπληρώνει την άλλη με τον πιο ωραίο τρόπο.

Μου αρέσει η λειτουργία του ως δευτερεύουσα οθόνη όταν παίζω κάποιο βίντεο ή κάποιο τραγούδι στο κινητό ή ακούω μουσική από ιντερνετικό ραδιόφωνο. Μπορείς να χρησιμοποιήσεις το ρολόι ως τηλεκοντρόλ.

Σταματάω γιατί μπορώ να γράφω για μέρες... Απλά θα πω ότι ήμουν πολύ διστακτικός για την αγορά του, νόμιζα ότι δεν είναι συσκευή που θα είναι και τόσο χρήσιμη ή αναγκαία. Τελικά έκανα λάθος. Απορώ πως αγνόησα τις τρεις προηγούμενες γενιές

Δε νομίζω ότι η πέμπτη γενιά έχει τόσο μεγάλες αλλαγές για να επενδύσει κανείς στο 5. Το νέο ρολόι φοράει το ίδιο τσιπάκι και τον ίδιο επεξεργαστή με το τεσσάρι και η μόνη διαφορά στο hardware είναι η πυξίδα και η δυνατότητα να μένει η οθόνη συνέχεια ανοιχτή. Η τιμή του 4 είναι αυτή τη στιγμή παραπάνω από τίμια! Αν το συνδυάσετε και με κάποια προσφορά καταστήματος με επιστροφή 10 ή 20%, θα το αποκτήσετε πολύ φθηνότερα και θα είναι σα να κλέβετε εκκλησία.
To 5άρι είναι 100+ € ακριβότερο χωρίς να δίνει τίποτα νέο ενώ το 3άρι είναι 100+€ φθηνότερο αλλά παραείναι παλιό σε σχέση με τις τεχνολογίες που ενσωματώθηκαν στα ρολόγια την τελευταία διετία.
Και μόνο το γεγονός ότι η ίδια η apple σταμάτησε την πώληση του 4 μέσα από τα δικά της κανάλια διανομής δείχνει ότι απλώς θέλει να πουλήσει το 5 που δεν έχει τίποτα παραπάνω. Ο μεταξύ τους ανταγωνισμός θα άφηνε το 5 με τεράστιο απώλητο απόθεμα.

This rating has to do with the quality-price ratio. After a month and a lot of thought, whether it's worth or not the 430E for what it offers, I can say that I am satisfied overall, with a big obstacle being the price and its waterproofness.

Positives: Amazing screen even under the sun, very good synchronization, everything comes to you quickly (calls, messages, notifications), quite accurate measurements, very good call quality, you can hear and be heard clearly even in noise, and very beautiful on the hand with many straps and nice themes for every occasion. Sturdy and gives you the feeling that it has durability but needs attention.

Negatives: A small issue with the messenger that didn't load my conversations (you can say it's okay, but for Apple it's unacceptable). Second, the battery lasts for two days, although it's not that serious. Third, it has a small issue with dictation in some points, but it seems to write something else. Fourth, Apple presents it as waterproof, but if you dig deeper, in fine print it says that it's good to avoid soap, cologne, or salty water because it "loses" its waterproofness over time, considering how much it can withstand with such use and if it's worth the money.

These are the observations I had, and I hope to help those who want to buy it. In summary, it is a very good watch that, overall, does what it says and covers me about 80%, but I consider its price quite high.

Κάτοχος λοιπόν iPhone επέλεξα περσυ να αλλάξω και να πάω προς τη Samsung μιας και φαινόταν όλο ένα να δυναμώνει εφόσον πήρα λοιπόν τον Αύγουστο το note 9 αν και δυσκολεύτηκα με αυτή την αλλαγή μπορώ να πως έμεινα αρκετά ευχαριστημένος είχα πάρει λοιπόν και το galaxy watch το οποίο ναι μεν προσφέρει παρά πολλά δε μπορώ να πω πως με ικανοποίησε έτσι όπως το περίμενα. Γι αυτό και για το ότι το κινητό κολλούσε αρκετά, επέστρεψα πίσω στο παλιό μου κινητό το iPhone X με το οποίο είχα μείνει άκρως ικανοποιημένος απο όλες τις απόψεις... είχα συνδέσει το galaxy watch με αυτό το κινητό και δε μπορώ να πω πως είναι ότι καλύτερο, μιας και χάνει λειτουργίες και γενικά δε ταιριάζει ρε παιδί μου. Πριν κάτι μήνες πήρα το series 4 γιατί είχα ακούσει αρκετά καλά λόγια το είχε ένας φίλος μου έβλεπα ποσο καλά δούλευε και φαινόταν πως εξυπηρετούσε πλήρως το σκοπό μου. Μπορώ να πω πως είναι πραγματικά η καλύτερα αγορά που έσω κάνει με το μόνο θέμα την τιμή η οποία είναι αρκετά τσιμπημενη για τα δεδομένα της Ελλάδας τη σημερινή ημέρα. Κατά τα αλλά ο συγχρονισμός είναι άψογος σε χρόνο ρεκόρ ήταν έτοιμο... θα μπορούσε να το συνδέσει και η γιαγιά μου τόσο ευκολία μιλάμε. Οι μετρήσεις του είναι φοβερές θα έλεγα και αυτό που με ξεπερνάει είναι το ηλεκτροκαρδιογραφιμα απλά με έχει αφήσει άφωνο... οι καρδιακοί παλμοί τους μετράει με πολύ ακρίβεια θα έλεγα... όταν ανεβάζω πίεση μου βγάζει να παίρνω αναπνοές να ηρεμώ και η γυμναστική που την έχω στη καθημερινότητα μου είτε με το γυμναστήριο είτε με το τρέξιμο είναι φοβερό και οι κύκλοι δραστηριότητας. Η ποιότητα κατασκευής είναι παρά πόλη καλή στιβαρή, κομψή, διακριτική αλλά και ιδιαίτερα αισθητή αφού ξεχωρίζει και κάνει μπαμ όταν το φοράς. Ανθεκτικό μου έχει πέσει 2-3 φορές και δεν έχει πάθει τίποτα αν δε πιστεύω πως είναι το πιο ανθεκτικό είναι πολύ καλό αλλά εξακολουθώ να φοβάμαι διότι είναι σαν να έχεις ένα κινητό και δεν έχει μπροστά κάποιο προστατευτικό όπως το galaxy watch που έχει μπροστά το μεταλο. Στο νερό λειτουργεί μια χαρά δεν παίρνει νερό μπαίνω στο ντουζ κανονικά και στη θάλασσα και στην πισίνα και η οθόνη λειτουργεί και δε πατιούνται και τα κουμπιά όταν βάζω τη λειτουργία που έχει. Η οθόνη είναι μαγευτική κατά τη γνωμη μου με ωραία χρώματα γυαλιστερή πολύ smooth και όταν είναι κλειστό και είναι μαύρη η οθόνη είναι κατράμι σβήνει κανονικά το μαύρο του είναι απίστευτο. Τώρα η μπαταρια μπορώ να πω πως είναι άκρως ικανοποιητική γιατί το έχω σκεφτεί και έχω πει πως το προηγούμενο μου κρατούσε αρκετές μέρες αλλά ας πούμε το φόρτιζα Δευτέρα βράδυ το είχα μέχρι την πεμτη το μεσημέρι πράγματα το οποίο με άφηνε στη μέση και μου ήταν άχρηστο και γενικά πήγαινε πίσω χρονικά διότι αν το φορτιζα το απόγευμα για να το έχω μετά από 3,5 μέρες πάλι θα με άφηνε πρωί όμως πράγμα το οποίο με το άλλο δεν ισχύει μου βγάζει δυο μέρες ακριβώς και είμαι ευχαριστημένος... το αγαπημένο μου είναι οι λειτουργίες που έχει. Που μπορώ να έχω τον ασύρματο, λιετουργια σινεμά, gps που όταν κάνω μια διαδρομή με τα πόδια μόλις βάλω τον προορισμό μου βάζει ειδοποίηση ποτε να στιβο και τα σχετικά, όταν το βάζω αθόρυβο μέσα στα μίτινγκ και οι κλήσεις η τα μυνηματα τα νιώθω αοθητα αλλά οι αλλοι δε καταλαβαίνουν τίποτα απολύτως, οι κλήσεις που δεν έχω καμια ανπαντητη πλέον και το φοβερό είναι όταν πέφτω η χτυπάω το χέρι μου στο τραπέζι μου βγάζει ηδοποιηση αν είναι καλά αυτό έχω ακούσει πως σώζει ζωές αλλά και η Siri που μπορεί να μη τη χρησιμοποιώ πολύ αλλά είναι εξυπηρετική. Και όσο αφορά για Ρα λεφτά που πολλοί το σκέφτεστε ναι είναι πολλά αλλά τα αξίζει και με το παραπάνω!!!

If the battery lasted 4-5 days, yes, I would give it all the stars and say that it's worth the money.

With the support of esim on Apple Watch, I will directly get the LTE version, which means that if you leave the house without your phone, you can still receive calls and messages normally. And in combination with AirPods, it will be a complete device on your wrist

I bought the watch from the first day of its release. The build quality is EXCELLENT, with amazing materials, beautiful corners, and especially the bottom is fantastic. As for the screen, it is amazing with very nice colors and resolution. The size is very satisfying. As for durability, in the first 10 days, I noticed some very light scratches on the screen, but nothing else. The battery lasts a day and a half, which doesn't bother me as I put it on the bamboo base I bought every night and it charges. There aren't many apps, but there are enough to satisfy even demanding users.
It has helped me to avoid using my phone many times as I answer calls or messages from the watch, and all my notifications come to the watch, so I don't have to take out my phone every now and then. The charging is incredibly fast, as many times when I woke up in the morning and realized that I didn't charge it during sleep, I quickly put it on for half an hour and it reached up to 70%!
Overall, it is a purchase that I highly recommend as I can no longer part with it!

I didn't do much market research before buying it, for example, looking for a Samsung Watch, as I wanted an Apple watch along with a new iPhone. Additionally, I had seen the Samsung up close somewhere, and I have to say that it is like the simple watch I had before (aesthetically, that is 0)... But these are personal preferences.
As for the battery, I will say one thing: Yes, it lasts maybe a day and a half, or a little more (it was the only negative thing I had read and had concerned me before getting it), but it fully charges in about 60 minutes, so the "problem" is greatly reduced, almost eliminated. Well, you will sit and charge it every two days...

I have it in my possession for a week, I have to say that I never had a smart watch before. In terms of build quality, I didn't expect anything less, it is sturdy and gives you a sense of security every time you touch it. The screen is truly amazing and has very good responsiveness. It paired perfectly with my iPhone XS Max. The microphone is perfect and crystal clear, now I talk more at work through the watch and don't need to have my hand in front of my mouth. You can run and listen to music from Apple Music and be connected to Beats, it's an incredible experience and it also tracks your route and calories. Additionally, you can respond to all kinds of messages from simple iMessage to voice-commanded emails. There are many apps in the store and of course all the social media platforms. The battery lasts for 2 days. I know that the 500 euros it asks for is a lot, but it is worth every penny and more.

Owner of the Apple watch series 3. I decided to also purchase the version 4 primarily for the significant addition of heart monitoring (ECG)... which will be available in the near future (for America) where it has been approved. The build quality follows Apple's philosophy (top quality).

So far, positives:

* Larger screen.
* Same battery life (lasts me two full days).
* Fall detection (with immediate notification to pre-set contacts).
* Faster performance due to 64-bit architecture support (64-bit dual-core).
* Perfect connectivity with the iPhone (notifications, calls, messages, etc.).
* The screen lights up instantly when the wrist is rotated without delay.
* The screen is easily visible even under sunlight.

Negatives:

* Particularly expensive compared to what it offers.
* Inaccurate step counting (important function during exercise). For example, when reaching a dead end or turning back immediately, it "loses" a significant number of steps. In a 7km distance that I walk daily, it could lose up to 400m. On the contrary, the Suunto Ambit 3 that I had did not lose a single meter.
* Requires the presence of an iPhone to function, for basic applications like Runkeeper. Without it, it does not record kilometers, resulting in the iPhone's battery draining.
* Limited 16GB memory for apps and music.
* Incorrect sleep tracking.

I believe that Apple still needs a lot of time to reach the level of functionality of companies like Suunto, Garmin, etc.
