The book "A Little Suite for a Great Man" is a heartfelt tribute to Thanassis Veggos, whom the author admired, loved, and greatly appreciated.

Sakis Tsilikis, in writing the book, expressed what he did not have the chance to say to his hero, along with the vivid memories that emotionally charge him. Although he does not seek the laurels of an author, he proves that he can. He is a composer, friend, and collaborator of Veggos, and feels grateful for their collaboration and for everything he learned from him. Veggos taught him ethics, humanity, art, and greatness.

The book is written almost in a dialogic form, cinematographically, with memories coming and being represented like scenes from a movie. In his narration, he uses the imperfect tense as well as the historical present tense, perhaps because he does not admit that everything has passed into the past, as his memories are so vivid that they cannot be forgotten and live in the present.
