  • 6 years after purchasing it I can say that it is perfect.
Absolutely no problems all these years.

I use it only for work, not for gaming, nor for video, that is, not for tasks with moving images where you want low response time. In my work, the screen size is very important, although I would prefer it to be even larger and have higher resolution in height, without changing the pixel distance, which in my eyes is ideal. I wouldn't go for 27" with the same or higher resolution.

It is the first curved one I have purchased and the curvature radius is just right for its size. At such a large size, being curved is a must. I wouldn't prefer a flat one, nor two smaller screens side by side.

At first it seemed huge to me, but after a while I got used to it and started to take advantage of its size, ideal for large excel, word, pdf files, designs. I usually operate it with two open windows/programs side by side, with a 2/3 + 1/3 split.

It is a fairly good choice for users who spend many hours in front of a screen and work.
It has good black and white (could be better).
    Pretty good speakers for built-in.

The only thing that bothered me is the missing software for macOS and Linux users

Very good screen, I use it for programming tasks and light gaming (Among us, League of Legends, etc.). I can't go into technical details as I'm not an expert, but I can say that it greatly helps with productivity, multitasking, it's bright, has accurate color reproduction, and the fact that it is curved helps with prolonged use. Finally, the 34 inches may seem like a lot to some, but it's a matter of habit and viewing distance. I think the QHD resolution is satisfactory (and more than enough), so personally I wouldn't go for 4K because I can do my work just fine in QHD.

As for the speakers, they are satisfactory, nothing special or very powerful, but for watching YouTube and movies, they are more than enough (for me). One thing I noticed is that in MacOS, it doesn't let you adjust the volume while in Windows it does. Maybe it's an issue on my end or with the software, I don't know.

    Extra:
Being a user of old monitors, the transition to this one brought a feature that surprisingly proved to be incredibly useful. I have connected 2 devices (1 USB-C and 1 DP) and when I open one and close the other, it automatically changes the input source without having to do it manually. I don't know if it's possible with other monitors, but it's very useful.

In summary, it is a good monitor, but expensive. For this reason, I would recommend it to professionals who use it daily for many hours in tasks like Photoshop, video editing, and/or programming.

Owner for over a year now. I bought it because I wanted to replace the previous setup with a dual-screen setup so that I could have reliable colors and a surface that would open my eyes when playing games and watching movies.

The IPS panel it has definitely saves from viewing angles, there is no complaint. Whether at the desk, in bed, standing up, or from the side, I can easily do my work.

The colors are fantastic, factory calibrated, and I can say that I now see a difference. At the same time, I get eye strain comparing it to the old screens, which I now have on the side for other parallel tasks. In games with a wide color range and landscapes, like Witcher 3, Horizon Zero Dawn & Assassin's Creed, there will definitely be moments where you just sit and look at the landscape, it's magical.

The response time is a problem. The screen has visible ghosting, especially in neutral colors and in simple scenes without complexity. There is no way to fix this. Do not try to change the setting from the menu for the response time, it makes the problem much worse.

The curvature is nice and it doesn't have a terrible problem with bright spots in the corners that you might hear about. They are definitely visible in dark scenes and with a dark room, but most of you won't pay attention because they will be in the periphery of your field of vision at that moment.

Also, the screen does not handle overclocking to achieve more than 60 fps. I tried it and nothing, it always drops frames if someone tries it. Maybe it requires specialized knowledge to achieve it.

Also, I had a problem with my purchase which I don't know if it is a general issue with this model. Occasionally, the USB passthrough seems to short-circuit and the connected peripherals turn off as if they are not receiving power. Other times they receive power (you can see it in the LEDs) but the system doesn't recognize them. For this reason, I had to stop using them because 2-3 times a day I had to mess with cables to get them working again.

Apart from that, it is a beautiful screen and the menu is the best I have ever encountered (don't imagine any crazy experience, I have touched 3 different screens in 10 years at my desk) and even though it is expensive, it makes me happy every day.

    4/5.

EDIT: It is said to support a 75Hz refresh rate but only if you have a graphics card that supports freesync.
EDIT 2: I bought it on sale for 600 euros back then, anything over 700 is expensive now.

EDIT 3: It has been over 8 months since the purchase, there have been no other negative changes to report. The problem I mentioned with the power/passthrough in USB might not have been an issue with the screen, but with the keyboard. It was giving me the same problems for a while and in other USB ports until I changed it.

The best for my eyes. Correct colors and comfortable. Dell's service with immediate replacement makes it a one-way street for a professional but also for someone who knows the value of support any time anywhere. They replaced it during the pandemic in 3 days.
