In the new realities that are developing on a global scale, the significance of issues related to classical languages as a unique cultural capital is increasingly acquiring a particularly critical role even in everyday life.
This is why it became the topic of the talks organized by the Center for Greek Language as part of Expolangues in February 2003 in Paris. The texts of these talks are published in this volume.
In the new realities, challenges, questions, and broader reformulations about potential priorities and constants of cultural processes are developing. Views related to classical languages that have dominated or currently dominate are being called into question.
