The search for and depiction of the ideological components that govern the evolution of the Special Education system from its inception to the present are linked to a large number of factors. Some of these are historically found through the study of the evolutionary process of Special Education, while others are inferred from examining the legislative framework that establishes Special Education. However, there is an effort to seek the evolutionary forces and ideological components within a broader context.
