Comments like "this model doesn't make noise while the other one does" have absolutely no meaning, as you cannot be sure unless you compare two models side by side.

The same device can be unbearable for someone, while for someone else it can be quiet according to their standards.

As others say, it makes noise, but from what I understand, the same applies to all dehumidifiers since the motor is inside the house and not outside like in wall A/C units.

To avoid the noise, you can simply do the obvious:
Use it in a different room from where you are.
For example, during the day, use it in the bedrooms, while at night use it in the living room or operate it when you are not at home.

Regarding TUYA Smart Life:
I recommend using it because you can have all your smart devices in the same application. The connection method is the same as the connection instructions in the default app recommended by Toyotomi (SmartLife-SmartHome by ACSmart).
It may also work with Google Home or Alexa. I haven't tried them to tell you.

The most important thing of all:

Make sure you actually need a dehumidifier by purchasing a humidity measuring device before making the purchase.

Houses with good insulation that do not accumulate moisture in the walls, in my opinion, do not need a dehumidifier unless:

1) you cook a lot and have a bad extractor fan at the same time, or
2) you have a large family, resulting in the production of a lot of steam in the bathroom, or
3) you want to dry clothes inside the house.

I will start with the topic "noise." It seems that everyone here who is complaining does not have experience with other dehumidifiers to compare. It is not an air conditioning indoor unit that has limited noise and is also... tall. It is a unit with a compressor "next" to us, so it is logical for it to be heard. I have had dehumidifiers for years (Delonghi, Inventor, Toyotomi) and this specific one is very good in both dehumidification and functions, with a fan that has 3 speed options plus turbo (basic), a lot of power. It has adjustable direction for the moving louvers, and even a shoe drying function (with the extra accessory it comes with). In terms of noise, it is quite good and tolerable, it doesn't "creak" (so far). The build quality compared to the other two models, Zen and MIZU, is slightly inferior, but of course, the quality of Toyotomi is nothing compared to Inventor. It is powerful in dehumidification (in a single space of 85 square meters). For consumption, it states 285w, but with a good meter I have for checking devices, it shows 205w, and together with the ionizer, 215w. For the offer that was 180 euros, buy it with closed eyes

I was one of the first to buy it when it came out and I bought it at a high price. The good thing is that it almost never loses WiFi connection and you can control it from your mobile phone even when you're not at home. On the other hand, it's not the quietest device out there (I would prefer a WiFi-enabled zeolite dehumidifier, if it existed) and it is definitely annoying when it operates in the same room. The water tank is large and doesn't need constant emptying, but it does get a bit stuck when you remove it (although this is not a problem). The most serious issue is with the app and the WiFi: If for any reason the app stops detecting the dehumidifier (like when changing phones or uninstalling the app), you will have to set it up again from scratch. To do this, you will need to reset the dehumidifier and reconnect it to the app. The reset is supposed to be done by pressing the "timer" button 6 times, but it DOES NOT...

EDIT: The WiFi reset is done by quickly and precisely pressing the "timer" button 6 times (not more, not less) and then waiting for about 3-5 seconds. It's pure science!

I bought this dehumidifier 3 weeks ago. The purchase was a bit rushed as I was initially looking at the 20-liter inventor, but I was convinced by the extra 5 liters of dehumidification capacity, considering that my house is 100 square meters and I thought this would make the job a bit easier. The first impression after unpacking it was very good, as it has a nice design and it's not just a simple square box. When you turn it on, the white lid on top opens and a shutter in the same blue color as the finish appears, from which the air eventually comes out. This shutter can move like some air conditioners to distribute the air it releases or you can keep it fixed. Unfortunately, as soon as it started, I was quite disappointed to the point of thinking that I wasted my money. The noise it made was terrible. After 5 minutes of operation, when the pipes had reached temperature, it sounded like a lawnmower. Even in the adjacent room with the door closed, you could hear it struggling. I kept it in this condition for 3 days because it had to operate to clean the space, and then I decided to take it to the service center for inspection. It took 4 days to get it back, and finally, after a "pipe readjustment," the dehumidifier works normally without noise. Whether it is quiet or not is quite subjective. With the dehumidifier on the second level and the compressor running, it doesn't bother me when it's in the adjacent room with the doors open. I believe I wouldn't be able to sleep with it in the same room, but anyway, we're talking about a machine designed for large spaces, so the compressor will have the corresponding noise. However, during the day, having it in the living room on the low setting, it doesn't bother at all, and it's like it's not even there. A big advantage is the Wi-Fi feature, which allows you to control it from anywhere in the house or even outside. The only downside is that I can't turn off the Wi-Fi with a button if I want to. In terms of dehumidification, it does a good job and quickly lowers the humidity levels. In combination with the ionizer, it completely changes the air quality in the house. I would recommend it to those who want to cover an area of 100 square meters. If it makes the same noise for you, send it for inspection immediately. It won't cost you anything, and the machine will fully satisfy you.
