Description

Description

It uses less energy compared to other types of cooktops and the cooking time is reduced by half. Cleaning it is very easy, as the area around the cookware remains cool. A necessary condition for this type of cooktop is that the cookware must be compatible with induction cooktops, meaning made of stainless steel or cast iron. Its operation is autonomous, meaning it can function on its own without the need for connection to an oven. It can be placed anywhere in the kitchen. It is suitable for combination with an above-counter oven, as the oven can be placed anywhere, independently of the cooktops.

The selection of desired temperatures and settings is done digitally and via touch. All options are located at the bottom of the cooktop and are integrated into the surface.

It also features a child safety lock, which ensures that the cooktop will not be accidentally activated. By pressing the lock button, all functions are disconnected and any cooktop can be quickly and easily secured. The cooktop can be unlocked by pressing the button again for a few seconds.

It broke down in less than 2 years, while it was still under warranty. The 2 left burners did not work. At first, they started turning on whenever they wanted, and then they stopped working altogether. I contacted Whirpool, who sent a technician (!), who told me that I was not placing the pots correctly, or that I hadn't washed them well and the bottom wasn't making contact. He declared all my pots useless, even though on the right side they worked fine.
As a result, the warranty expired and now they don't even respond to my requests for replacement or repair. I called another technician outside the company and he told me that the circuit board needs to be replaced (200 euros). I contacted the consumer advocate, as Whirpool's service is 'let it be'
