    I have tried it and I didn't like it. In retrospect, I discovered online that in 2017, the EFET recalled batches of extra virgin olive oil from Latzima because it was non-edible LAMPANTE oil. That is, lighting oil, unsuitable for consumption.

    This particular olive oil is a benchmark of Greek production. Its color is sufficiently green and its taste is rich and full. Ideal for salads but equally suitable for cooking. Less fluid than many other olive oil products, it has the following difference from the rest. Immediately after consumption with food, it does not leave that oily feeling in the mouth and throat that other olive oils do. In short, Latzimas company is an advertisement for Greek olive oil.
