In almost all the pages of the New Testament, the word sin is mentioned, either directly, derivatively, or semantically related. With the same frequency, however, therapeutic words such as redemption, repentance, forgiveness, justification, etc. also appear.

In this new work, sin and original sin are defined. The causes of Adam's transgression that led to the fall and the rupture of the relationship between God and humanity are analyzed, while the attitude of Jesus Christ towards sinners is highlighted, with the provision, translation, and commentary of all the passages or excerpts related to the concepts of sin and redemption.

The Lord Himself in the Gospel of Mark affirms: "I did not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance." Repentance is the essential condition for forgiveness and the remission of sins.
