In the first of the four books in the series "LEARNING ABOUT THE HOLY MOTHER," by the author Athena Dasiou-Giannou and the iconographer Athena Kontogianni, the early years of our Holy Mother's life are described.

Information is provided about her parents, how she grew up in the Temple, and reached the Annunciation. Furthermore, the reason why she was chosen by God to represent the human race and participate in His plan for the salvation of humanity from sin and death is analyzed.

Athena Dasiou-Giannou is a kindergarten teacher and studies in the Department of Theology at the University of Athens. She has a significant writing career and has been awarded multiple times in national competitions.

Athena Kontogianni studied French, Japanese, and English Philology. She holds a degree in Iconography from the Iconography School of Georgios Kordis. She has participated in exhibitions and is also involved in mural painting and book illustration.

The book is suitable for children aged 5 and up.
