Description

Description

Using a 10” woofer (Injection Molded Graphite) and a built-in high-efficiency digital amplifier, the self-powered Klipsch R-100SW Subwoofer delivers balanced bass to your sound mix.

With a frequency response of 32Hz - 120Hz (+- 3dB), a maximum sound level of 112dB, RCA/LFE Line-in inputs, an MDF cabinet with a durable vinyl finish, a removable low-profile magnetic grille, and built-in Volume/Low Pass Crossover/Phase Control switches, it dramatically improves transient response, pressure, and tone control.

The result is balanced bass, whether you're watching your favorite movie or enjoying your favorite music tracks!

Injection Molded Graphite Woofer

Constructed with injection-molded graphite and copper (IMG), the woofer cone integrated into the R-100SW is extremely thin and distinguished by its low weight. At the same time, it is exceptionally rigid, offering remarkable low-frequency response with minimal breakup and distortion.

Digital Amplifier

The built-in digital amplifier of the R-100SW Subwoofer offers ample power for exceptional sound performance and fidelity from any source, thus providing maximum output, detail, and power that will fill your home.

Bring the bass to your standards

With Volume, Low Pass Crossover, and Phase Control switches on its back, the Klipsch R-100SW Subwoofer ensures absolute control, making the adjustment of low frequencies easier so that it harmonizes perfectly with the timbre of your other speakers.

The Line Level/LFE RCA inputs provide maximum compatibility with most home theater receivers available on the market.

Elegant design, high-quality construction

The reinforced MDF construction reduces cabinet vibrations for less acoustic coloration and improved accuracy, giving you the ultimate listening experience, an experience made to last.

    amazing!
I combined it with a pair of BR03 triangle and the result is amazing
I don't have the most trained ears, but the fact that I can't get enough of listening to them with music and movies means something.
It takes some work to set up with the rest (amplifier and speakers), but in the end I was left speechless. Amplifier vsx831
The space is 25m2, where maybe 8 inches would also fit well if not better. But in the future they will go into a bigger space so all good.
Amp xover setting 80, woofer 80, even though the woofer's manual says 160 with LFE connection and 80 to 100 at the amp's xover. The sound is sweeter with 80 at the woofer's xover and 80 to 100 at the amp's xover.
Woofer gain about 30 to 40%
With the Level setting on the amp you can fine tune from your couch, depending on the song or movie and all is good.

An honest subwoofer. Good bass, but it is very much affected by the position you place it. It doesn't lack anywhere, quite the opposite. For its price, it is a good proposition. Prefer it for small to medium spaces. That is its element. It will get lost in large living rooms. On the downside, it has a very basic level of settings. Essentially, you have to keep going behind it and adjust the gain after each listening session, until you find the optimal combination of volume, integration with the rest of the system, and overall performance

As soon as you unpack it, you immediately understand the quality of its construction. Even better, however, when you connect it to a good amplifier, that's when it reveals all its talent. After 100 hours of break-in, I have to say that it is one of the best basses I have ever experienced in my life. I live in a single-family home and it gives me the opportunity to fully utilize it. I do not recommend it for apartments...

A very good sub for my listening preferences, rich in bass both in 5.1 movies and in electronic music that I listen to. Excellent build quality from a company with a name in the audio field.

Nice subwoofer with full sound. Definitely better than a Jamo 150W that I had (which was downfiring and quite boomy/muddy).

It requires attention when matching with the other speakers, it needs to have a relatively low gain in order to calibrate properly (I tried through Denon Audyssey, where it lowered it to almost -12db at around 40% and I had to manually lower it even more).

Simply excellent, which perfectly matches the rest of the Klipsch reference series speakers. If there is space with a few extra euros, it is worth getting the 12-inch for even higher volumes. As Klipsch says in its motto "say hello to your neighbor" with the clean, full intensity of the music that the speakers produce.

***Edit after about 8 months since the purchase.
Personally, I bought it from a store in Germany and it cost me 268 euros including shipping. The speaker is excellent and matches perfectly with the Klipsch RF35. The 12-inch was about 40 euros more, but my space is limited. I enjoy them every day at volumes ranging from ~0db to +10db, and the neighbors simply enjoy quality music for free!!! You should also purchase a good quality RCA cable to avoid interference, as I experienced with a cheap cable from eBay. The Inakustik Cable RCA worked perfectly in my case, despite the 10 meters distance from the amplifier.
