The Adidas Stan Smith is a classic tennis shoe known for its white and green color. It is widely regarded as one of the most iconic silhouettes of all time. It was first released in the early 1960s and initially did not bear the name Stan Smith, but was known as Robert Haillet, after the French tennis player. When Haillet retired from tennis, Adidas decided that it needed a successor. That's when American tennis player Stan Smith was proposed and went on to make history.
