Top build quality and very fast at what it does! I've had it for years and it still works like new without any problems whatsoever!

I bought it the first time for about 23 euros and it lasted two years and a bit, but the use I put it through was exhausting, maybe 30 times a week every week. Maybe it broke because a lot of water had collected between the kettle and the metal part of the base that takes the power. I bought it again at a much higher price, relying on its durability, because other cheap kettles last much less. It has the advantage that the water does not come into contact with plastic at all. I would not trust Chinese kettles (i.e. all of them) to have plastic parts, especially when the water they come into contact with is at 100 degrees.

I have had it for three years and I have to say that, unfortunately, I did not expect a Xiaomi product to be of such low quality, especially for the 30 euros it currently costs

- It gets limescale very easily compared to other kettles
- Early on, the thermostat started having problems and kept boiling for a long time after the water had already boiled
- After 1.5 years, rust appeared on the button that opens the lid and not only there
- It gets dirty very easily
- It takes A VERY LONG TIME to boil the water; it is faster with a small pot on a gas burner

The only positive thing is its nice appearance; otherwise, I would not recommend it under any circumstances

P.S. Obviously, I do not need to state the obvious for a kettle of this price, namely that it keeps the water hot for a very long time after it boils and no one gets burned when touching it except the handle, but these are the obvious things a kettle should do anyway; otherwise, we would put our water in a saucepan

Very nice design, quality materials, keeps the water hot for a long time, easy to clean inside due to the large opening, excellent choice.

After one year the safety mechanism broke, so when the water was boiling I had to turn it off by hand. The handle is somewhat uncomfortable, but that is also a matter of habit; in terms of speed, it’s mediocre. I would like a little filter at the spout. Overall, nice design and good capacity, but for everyday use I would not choose it again.

Very good quality of materials and construction.
The entire interior is inox, as is the lid. No plastic at all, no smell.
Large lid, so it is easy to clean by hand and dries very quickly (so it doesn’t get limescale).
It is insulated, so
- the outer surface does not get hot, it is safe
- it keeps the water hot

The safety feature that prevents it from operating without water (boil-dry protection) does not work!
The handle is very thin and without a curve, it is uncomfortable.
The button opens the lid halfway, then it needs to be opened by hand.
It is wider than the others, due to the insulation
Cool appearance, which suits Nordic-style kitchens.

I would definitely look at its “little brother”, the Rohnson R-7520, which also has a mesh at the spout.

Unfortunately, after two and a half years, the on-off switch broke. As a construction, it is excellent! But the placement of the switch and all the mechanism that exists for it right under the heating element is a big negative for the longevity of the product! This applies to all kettles that have the switch in that specific position!

Soon it started not stopping when the water boiled! Plus it was leaking water from the switch (!), which seems extremely dangerous to me. Xiaomi, stay away

Extremely simple and elegant kettle at an affordable price. Its only drawback is that it easily gets limescale, even though I use only bottled water, but that’s a minor issue since it’s very easy to remove.

It is quite good quality for its money.
It doesn't boil very quickly and makes quite a bit of noise.
I chose it for the color, which doesn't show marks like inox, and luckily I was spared.
Definitely a very good choice for me.

I bought my kettle from an online store and my experience is as follows: it boils in a relatively good time, it has medium-quality materials, it builds up limescale after about 7-10 boils, but the negative thing that made me return it for replacement is that while I was pressing the switch to start boiling, it would turn itself off after a few seconds, i.e. from position 1 it would go to position 0, as a result I had to stay over the kettle until the water boiled because it did this at least five to six times before the water boiled. Obviously it is a defective product and as soon as I receive the new one I will come back with a re-evaluation of my review.

Very good for the money, quality construction, it doesn't easily get limescale buildup, and even if it does, it cleans very easily thanks to the large opening at the top where your hand can fit in easily!

After buying the first one for my mother, I was convinced of the very good price-quality ratio and bought a second one for the house.

I don't know what you might ask of a kettle for it to be considered good, but this one turns on the thermostat whenever it feels like it and whenever it feels like it doesn't. The other time I left it and it boiled for about ten minutes, filling the house with steam, though at least we didn't catch fire.

For the money, it’s fine. I didn’t have many for a super comparison, only one Izzy, which at some point, in much less than a year, simply stopped working. This one has been used for several months (baby meals with frequent use at first and cooking) and it’s fine, especially for the €16 it cost. The lid indeed doesn’t open all the way, but at least you don’t have to hold it. A filter with little holes at the water outlet would be good, but okay.

You press the switch to start boiling and it stops as if the boiling cycle has completed, without the water having boiled. So, for the water to boil, you have to keep the button pressed with your hand.
Otherwise, although the desalinated water of the islands rusts the inside of kettles, this particular one has not a trace of rust, unlike a Bosch kettle of similar price and perhaps more expensive.

Very beautiful product with good internal inox lining. However, while it has a good boiling speed, it easily accumulates limescale, which ends up in the water I use due to the absence of a basic filter (with holes). Also be careful, because its design allows, if the water being boiled is too much, for it to spill out as it boils. This happens without the kettle being filled to the top. In general, it wins in performance, appearance, and material quality, while it has obvious problems in ergonomics.

A very good kettle and worth the money. More specifically now. Externally it is very beautiful and discreet. The outer material is good-quality plastic. Internally it is all inox, without the heating element being visible. This has a big advantage: you can clean the inner surfaces more easily because they are flat and easily accessible. The large opening at the top also helps with this. It does not have a filter/mesh at the spout, but I consider that unnecessary and it can often become annoying, so maybe it is even better. Also, the fact that it has two different materials inside and outside (stainless steel - plastic) is another plus because you do not get burned when you touch it due to the lower thermal conductivity, and it also keeps the water hot for a little longer. Boiling happens relatively quickly (1800W) and I did not notice any particular noise.

I've had the kettle for about a month now, and I use it every day. It still hasn't developed any limescale, it boils relatively quickly, though it does make a bit of noise. It seems very durable and has a nice design. I consider it a plus that it doesn't have the mesh filter at the spout. Washing it will be very easy.

First of all, all kettles get limescale; there is no exception...
If you want it not to build up too much limescale that then is difficult to remove, every day before the first use put a sponge inside with it and clean it, this way you avoid vinegar etc.
For this reason I chose this one with a large opening so the hand with the sponge fits comfortably. Those who talk about replacement filters etc. are useless if you keep it clean.
Never buy a kettle with a small opening (lid), it does not clean easily.
Anyway, this one is well worth it, as long as it is durable over time, which I don't know how long it will last.

100% worth the money. In less than 3 minutes it boils 1.5 liters of water.

It gets limescale quickly - at first I did as it said and put water with vinegar in a specific ratio to remove it, but it didn’t clean it. Then I put plain white vinegar and left it for an hour, and it was sparkling clean after that! Good rinsing afterwards of course...

Everything works properly, when the boiling is finished it turns off by itself and everything is fine.

Good build quality and beautiful on the kitchen counter. Xiaomi is a guarantee in this regard. It boils water quite quickly, even when it is at the recommended limit (1.5 liters). On the downside, from the 1.5-liter limit and above, even though there is a large gap up to the lid, if you have filled the kettle (always up to that limit) and it boils, the water splashes out. Another downside is that it does not have any filter at the spout to prevent this from happening. Finally, when you press the button to open the lid, it opens only halfway. Then you have to open it further yourself. The base underneath helps to store the cord and keep the kettle tidier. Good product, not perfect.

It has, as shown in the photos, a large opening, so I can easily clean it so it doesn't get limescale buildup. However, it doesn't need it often (with every refill, that is, it doesn't need it) because it dries well.
Boils quickly. What I would like is for it to switch off by itself earlier and not when we have filled the room with steam. That is, it turns off because maybe you forgot about it (as a safety feature) after about 7 minutes, it doesn't turn off just because the water has boiled and everything is ready

It seems high-quality, made from good materials. It takes a little while to boil the water, but who’s in a hurry? I can’t say anything yet about limescale because I’ve only had it for a few days. But if you clean it often with vinegar, I believe it will last. As they say, what you leave, leaves you. In terms of appearance, though, it’s perfectly fine, and what impressed me was its capacity.

Works like a thermos, large container, good build quality. The ONLY drawback I think is that it doesn't have a filter at the spout for limescale. Otherwise, it's a very good product and worth the money.
