Hand washing is recommended. If washed in a dishwasher, dry immediately with a soft cloth. Use a wooden or plastic cutting board, and do not expose the blade to heat or flame or use it to cut frozen foods or open containers. After cutting acidic foods such as lemons, oranges and tomatoes, wash it immediately.
