With a few times worn, the boot leaks water. I didn't expect to get such a good shoe and it wouldn't be waterproof. Yes, it is lightweight. Yes, you don't get injuries like I had with other boots. Yes, it grips the ground. BUT, around the perimeter, the leather doesn't reach down. At the point where the black protective layer exists, the leather is sewn and stops, instead of reaching down. So, in the lower part of the shoe, there is the goretex membrane inside and ONLY the black protective layer outside. Unfortunately, they have no resemblance to the old Lapponia that everyone was satisfied with... I have spoken to the store for a replacement.
Με Μετρημενες φορές φορεμενο, το μποτακι βάζει νερά. Δεν το περίμενα ότι θα έπαιρνα τόσο καλό παπούτσι και δεν θα ήταν στεγανο. Ναι, είναι ελαφρύ. Ναι δεν παθαίνεις τραυματισμούς όπως είχα με άλλα μποτακια. Ναι, γαντζωνει στο έδαφος. ΑΛΛΆ, περιμετρικά, το δέρμα δεν φτάνει μέχρι κάτω. Στο σημείο που υπάρχει το μαύρο προστατευτικο, το δέρμα ραβεται και σταματάει, αντί να φτάνει μέχρι κάτω. Έτσι, στο χαμηλό μέρος του παπουτσιου, υπάρχει από μέσα η μεμβρανη goretex και από έξω ΜΌΝΟ το μαύρο προστατευτικο. Δυστυχώς δεν έχουν καμία σχέση με το παλιό lapponia που ήταν όλοι ευχαριστημενοι... Έχω μιλήσει με το κατάστημα για αντικατάσταση.
Regarding the boot, it is very good. There is a huge problem with the sole. Within a year, with moderate use, the tread strip started to separate from the intermediate red strip. I had to send it for repair and put on a new Vibram sole. Repair cost 50 Euros.
Σε ότι αφορά το μποτάκι είναι πάρα πολύ καλό. Υπάρχει τεράστιο πρόβλημα με την σόλα. Μέσα σε ένα χρόνο, με μέτρια χρήση, άρχισε να ξεχωρίζει η λωρίδα του πατήματος από την ενδιάμεση κόκκινη λωρίδα. Αναγκάστηκα να το στείλω για επισκευή και να βάλω νέα σόλα vibram. Κόστος επισκευής 50 Ευρώ.
Ideal weight, incredible comfort, suitable for walking hunting, so far (2 months) completely waterproof... If it is durable and withstands, time will tell.
