The work "Homer's Vine" represents an important effort to highlight our wine tradition, bringing us back to our primal roots.

The entire study is based on the Homeric epics, the Iliad and the Odyssey, as well as the Homeric hymns. Through the pages of this work, the origin of the vine and the Dionysian myth are explored, viticultural practices (cultivation, fencing, ripening of grapes, harvest, etc.) are described and explained, and special chapters are dedicated to the product of the vine, wine (wine storage, libations, oaths, wine mixing, wine descriptors, wine pourers, etc.).

All these elements are based on specific excerpts from Homeric texts, which are presented with their verbatim translation, and harmoniously interwoven with a rich photographic material of representations from cups, amphoras, kraters, etc., vessels that now adorn archaeological museums around the world.
