I have had them for 1.5 years and they let in water. Care is done with the company's products. I was quite disappointed with the quality. A lot of money and not worth it.

Purchased for €200 at the beginning of September 2024 and we are at the end of January 2025.

4-5 months of heavy use due to work (which is exactly why they were purchased). And they ended up at the cobbler for sole replacement (gluing and stitching), plus the fact that for the care I gave them, the leather was not in good condition, and either moisture got in if I walked in water or my foot sweated and the socks were almost always wet (so if the first case is true, the waterproofing was not good, and if the second case is true, the shoe does not breathe well - to emphasize that with other boots I have, Salomon Tundra, this does not happen).

Regarding their maintenance:
Almost every day at the end of the day, I rinsed them with water to remove any mud, etc., and every Sunday I washed them with soap and sponge, dried them, and applied a cream from the company Haix that is for renewing the leather, enhancing waterproofing, etc.

Completely disappointed. I do not recommend them.

I have had this specific boot since 2018 and I use it daily in the orchard, vehicles, exercises, rain, etc. It hasn't suffered any damage nor has it opened! It is comfortable on the foot and relatively lightweight. I just wish it were a bit warmer because in the cold it makes my foot a little cold

Having bought many boots due to their quality, these are the only ones I have for 8 years now. Comfortable, warm, still waterproof, even after rough use as a city boot essentially. And the next Haix will simply be from the most expensive series that will be more suitable for the use I demand from a boot.

It is a tight fit. It is very warm, you can wear it for 3 or 4 months in winter, the foot sweats easily. It does not slip. It fades and leaves marks easily. I don't think it's suitable for the military. I would not buy it again.

It is the 3rd model of the company that I buy and the 6th in total from HAIX. This particular model is waterproof as it has a Goretex membrane. Also, its leather is soft and therefore it embraces the foot very nicely. Additionally, it is lightweight and does not tire the feet after many hours of walking or standing. During the summer months, the foot does not sweat due to the SUN REFLECT certification provided by the company. Also, this specific boot does not slip at all (it has SRC certification), which is very important for those working in the military or security forces.

For 3 months they squeaked with every step I took, as if I was stepping on balloons. Thankfully, they eventually stopped. They were waterproof for six months. After that, goodbye. I reached the point where I could walk through 10 cm of grass with morning dew on it and my foot would get soaked.

It should be noted that I maintained them exactly as instructed by Haix. I even bought their polish to prevent any issues. They never came into contact with or went near a radiator for drying.

They will soften quickly as needed without losing their shape. They are waterproof. They are lightweight. The negatives: BOTH TIMES THE SOLE OPENED!!! Very good sole, does not slip anywhere! If you are overweight, your feet will hurt! The leather is very sensitive and gets scratched easily! In very cold weather, below 10 degrees, the foot freezes even with ski socks! In very hot weather, you don't sweat at all, even at 40 degrees! 100% waterproof after 2 years of daily use for 8 hours! They have a permanent shine and have never absorbed any moisture. They are completely waterproof and warm for cold weather, although they have never bothered me with sweat even in the summer. (For security professionals, with two pairs, one like this and one breathable for summer, they can easily last for a decade). In terms of comfort, I had become frustrated with the sponsorship from ES, so I had tried almost all the other well-known brands for their comfort, grip, and lightweight, but none of them compare. They truly feel like athletic shoes. They are worth every penny.
