This work has a remarkable originality. For the first time in Greek chronicles, a comparative history is attempted between two controversial and "perforated" periods of the timeless Hellenism: Byzantium and the Metapolitefsi! This fact alone would suffice to characterize the labor of our dear friend and distinguished collaborator, Mr. Fotios Bambanis, as of historical significance for Greek letters!... It is an extremely interesting and innovative work.
