Description

Description

Twenty thousand little children die of asphyxiation within the dark tubes of London's chimneys. English contractors used chimney sweeps as slaves.

King Louis XIII orders all brothels in the French territories to be housed next to churches, so that clients can go in from one door straight to the other to receive absolution for their sins.

For centuries, the Turkish sultans, as soon as they ascend to the throne, legally slaughter all their brothers together to avoid any threat to their power, and then hold grand funerals for them, mourning their terrible loss.

Another series of incredible droplets, chosen from the ocean of madness known as Greek and world history.

  • I am looking forward to reading the next issue! I read about events that I had no idea could have happened. Very good book. I recommend it

  • Quite interesting, nice little stories. However, the previous 2 of the series were more interesting

  • Simple and understandable to get a taste of the historical events it describes. I would give at least one more star if sexist comments were missing, such as "maybe medicine should finally do what Sofia and so many women throughout the centuries have chosen to do, to at least appear honorable."
