Nice and quality kit, the files are very good and cut well, and the handle is comfortable, the aluminum guide is nice. The kit requires experience or someone to teach you how to properly file the chain, not just to show you. It is very convenient if you are outdoors and need to maintain the chain or fix some teeth if you hit something and they get damaged because otherwise it's a hassle. Also, if the chain is very worn, it takes a long time to sharpen it by hand, I have seen loggers file better with a file than with a machine... but that's a matter of experience. For any amateur who doesn't have the taste and passion to sit and learn, I recommend a simple sharpening machine, quick and easy. One positive aspect compared to the sharpening machine is that it doesn't remove as much material, so with proper use of the chain, it will have a longer lifespan. However, anyone who has a chainsaw will definitely need this kit because they will want to adjust the chain guides according to the hardness of the wood and the wear of the chain.
