Purchased for 40 euros for ceiling ventilation. Normally it says it's only for glass (some say it works for walls too and I will say yes but you need to know what you're doing). I chose it anyway because some things suited me like the size, the closing lid, and of course the price. Personally, I put it on 8mm melamine where the screws barely caught, but I made the holes a little deeper on the plastic and they screwed in fine. It looks in some of the photos if you see. On the positive side, it does the job although I think a fan of this size and speed could do better. Now for the negatives. First, they could have included a second set of screws with a longer length to make it easier for those who want to put it on melamine, for example, or something similar. Secondly, the power cord does not inspire confidence (I don't think anything will happen because the wattage is low, but they could have put something a little better) and also in my case, the clip that holds the cable in place was missing. I made a makeshift solution with a thick cable tie, but someone else might not be able to or might not bother. I don't know if this is generally the case or if it happened in my piece. Third and most importantly, it makes a lot of noise for the job it does. It blows as much as a classic room fan but makes three times the noise. It could potentially bother the neighbors. When I use it, I make sure I'm not in the room or I'm in a closed room with headphones. It makes about as much noise as a vacuum cleaner. Soon I will reduce the voltage with a dimmer so I can use it more without getting tired. My advice if noise is a concern for you, make sure to get a dimmer. Finally, there is a lid that doesn't close unless you tie the string somewhere like I did in the photo (a small hook is included at the end of the string), but otherwise if you don't want to close it manually after use, I suggest putting a screen on the back to prevent things from passing through. It might not bother you if your space is already open from somewhere, but I wanted to leave it open like a "window" even when it's not in use, so I put a screen on the back as a makeshift solution.
