    The chain is for a 1.3 mm guide and cuts just fine BUT on a small chainsaw (I have the Echo CS-2511 TESC) it tends to "bite" a lot compared to Carving type chains! I also have a second bar with a 1.1 mm guide which is lighter, but the main thing is that the corresponding chain hardly bites at all. So, I wouldn't recommend it for pruning and working on small branches because it requires a lot of attention.
