I've had them for a year now. I live in the countryside and often do farm work in rough places, fields, woods, gardens... They can handle anything. Waterproof, but they're low boots, not wellies, obviously. They don't get too hot in the summer. The only bad thing is the choice of laces—change them immediately, because they keep coming undone and get caught in grass, branches, etc. They may look nice but they won't last more than a month if you wear them often; they need straight and shorter laces and, of course, the right lacing technique so they don't loosen. The brown color really helps hide dirt and the sole is very easy to clean, while it protects from various thorns, bougainvillea, palm, etc. No matter how tired I get, my feet are among the last parts of my body to start complaining; the shoes are worth the money and, in general, a hiking shoe is essential outside the city.

Update: The shoes are still holding up after 4 years, but the sole has worn down with use. Expected. Since I was satisfied, I decided to buy the same model again. The Italians do an honest job, I would say. The leather held up, and I never polished it, just cleaned it every so often. I'm posting some comparison photos, the new ones with the old ones. Obviously, I still recommend them, they're worth the money.

Update 2: The second pair is still here, in 2026. The leather is just fine, the sole is quite worn but might last through spring, I'll see. The shoes are a guarantee. Everything I wrote years ago still applies; if you find this model, get it.
