We play it with the boys (6 & 8) as well as with my wife.
The game is very entertaining and the rounds are never the same, partly because the dice add randomness and strategy, but also because the cards drastically change the game.
The artwork is very beautiful, the pieces are OK in terms of quality, and the replayability is quite good.
Maybe the younger one needs an explanation at first about what the cards do, but after a few rounds he remembers exactly what they do.
I easily give it 5 stars because the kids and we really enjoy it and we spend a quality 2 hours playing.
We're definitely going for the expansions (additional monsters and mechanics).
