Capabilities

The XTAR D36 diving flashlight features a maximum power of 5800lm and multiple lighting modes. An ideal choice for professional and non-professional divers, cave exploration, and deep-water activities. Thanks to its IPX8 certified waterproofing, it can illuminate every dive up to 100 meters below the dark sea.

Ease of Use

The clear OLED display informs you of the remaining operating time, the current mode, and the lumens. It features a low power indicator that keeps you informed at all times about the status of your light. When the battery level is low, the brightness will automatically decrease, and when it is below 10%, the light behind the switch will change to red as a reminder to the user.

Safety & Comfort

The flashlight has all the necessary conditions and specifications for uninterrupted operation. The intelligent temperature control protects against possible overheating of the flashlight and ensures safe underwater operation for a long period of time. When the internal temperature reaches 70 degrees Celsius, the flashlight automatically lowers the brightness until it reaches the correct operating temperature. The D26 1600S diving flashlight is equipped with reverse polarity protection. It forgives mistakes even if you insert the battery incorrectly. Insert the battery according to the +,- markings you will see on your flashlight.

So as a flashlight at full power it's good, but it illuminates very brightly and closely, so it's not very useful for anything other than rock holes! The negative thing about it at full power, meaning 5800 lumens, is that it only lasts 40 minutes at most! In its lowest setting, where the light extends far like a laser, it's very good, but again the downside is the battery life. Other flashlights that are standard 2000 lumens last much longer! 3500mAh is considered very low for a flashlight that can work at 5800 lumens. Advice: NEVER, I repeat NEVER forget the battery inside the flashlight, because if it runs out while you have forgotten it inside the flashlight, it automatically becomes useless and you have to replace it! I now have the third battery! The big positive is that they have very good support and service, and they changed the batteries for me without a second thought as long as the warranty was valid, without even having the purchase receipt!
