I have played it more than 10 times. During the first half, I didn't understand all the rules. Overall, it is heavy and you need to "keep track of"/remember a lot during the game.
For me, it shouldn't be played with fewer than 6 players! It is not balanced with fewer players. Also, some houses are a bit disadvantaged anyway. I didn't like its expansion at all.

The only serious drawback is that it easily lasts 5-6 hours. If its duration was 2 hours, for example, I would give it 5 stars.

For those who want "and can" handle strategy games!
It took us at least 5-6 games and extensive research on international forums to be able to find a solution for the game's details. I even created an FB Group to explain the rules...
However, there are some issues...
It is better for 3 or 6 players because there is a problem with the game for 4 and 5 players, as certain houses are favored. For 4, there is an expansion that has a different logic from the core game and is very balanced, and for 6, there is an expansion that allows the game to finish in 4 hours instead of the usual 6-7, also balanced... The 6-player core game might not be as balanced, and there is a risk of a player leaving relatively quickly...
For 5, we printed a variation map by necessity or make variations.
For 3-4-5 players, there are many unofficial variations with different houses each time, obviously not as balanced, but it's not boring to play the same game again and again...
In general, there are many enthusiastic people about the game who create maps and everything else!
Of course, if you don't speak English well, you will have a lot of difficulty...

Για όσους θέλουν "και μπορούν" να ανταπεξέλθουν σε παιχνίδια στρατηγικής!
Χρειάστηκε να παίξουμε 5-6 παιχνίδια τουλάχιστον, και να κάνω μεγάλη έρευνα σε διεθνή φόρουμ για να μπορέσουμε να έχουμε λύση για τις λεπτομέρειες του παιχνιδιού. Έφτιαξα μέχρι και FB Group επεξήγησης κανόνων...
Υπάρχουν θεματάκια όμως...
Είναι καλύτερο για 3 ή για 6 παίχτες, γιατί το παιχνίδι στους 4 και 5 υπάρχει πρόβλημα γιατί ευνοούνται συγκεκριμένοι οίκοι..
Για 4 υπάρχει expansion που έχει διαφορετική λογική από το core game και είναι πολύ ισορροπημένο, και για τους 6 υπάρχει expansion για να μπορέσει να τελειώσει η παρτίδα στις 4 ώρες αντί των 6-7 που κρατάει το κανονικό, επίσης ισορροπημένο... Το 6 του core, ίσως να μην είναι και τόσο, και υπάρχει κίνδυνος να φύγει παίχτης σχετικά γρήγορα...
Για το 5 εκτυπώσαμε χάρτη παραλλαγή αναγκαστικά, ή κάνουμε παραλλαγές.
Για τα 3-4-5 άτομα κυκλοφορούν και πολλές unoficial παραλλαγές που συμμετέχουν διαφορετικοί οίκοι κάθε φορά, προφανώς όχι τόσο ισορροπημένα, αλλά δε βαριέσαι να παίζεις το ίδιο παιχνίδι ξανά και ξανά...
Γενικότερα υπάρχει πολύς κόσμος φανατικός με το παιχνίδι, που φτιάχνουν χάρτες και ότι άλλο!
Φυσικά αν δεν μιλάς καλά αγγλικά θα δυσκολευτείς πάρα πολύ...
Το μόνο κακό είναι πως λόγω πολυπλοκότητας δυσκολευόμαστε να βρούμε μεγάλο αριθμό παιχτών για να παίξουμε τα 4-5-6 :(

Tο συγκεκριμένο παιχνίδι δεν απευθύνεται μόνο στους funs της ομώνυμης σειράς αλλά σε board gamers και σε συνευρέσεις μεταξύ φίλων.
το μόνο που θέλει είναι να υπάρχει πολύς χρόνος 2-3 ώρες και πάνω από όλα καλή παρέα. Τίποτα άλλο...

A strategy game, mainly aimed at fans of the eponymous TV series (and of course the books) by R. R. Martin, which can be enjoyed by anyone who loves "area control" board games: 3 to 6 players fight for dominance in the kingdom of Westeros, putting their armies in conflict while simultaneously trying to secure extremely fragile alliances with skillful diplomatic moves.
PROS:
- Many players can play simultaneously
- Great suspense until the winner is revealed - the winner can change at any moment
- Absence of "luck" factor in battles - no dice involved
- Excellent quality components
CONS:
- Its duration: even among experienced players, the duration of each game exceeds 3 hours
- Relatively good knowledge of English is required, at least for the person who will read the manual and explain the game to the others
- (Minor) possibility of player elimination: There is a chance for a player to be eliminated from the game before it ends
Ένα παιχνίδι στρατηγικής, κυρίως απευθυνόμενο στους φίλους της ομώνυμης τηλεοπτικής σειράς (και των βιβλίων φυσικά) του R. R. Martin, το οποίο όμως μπορούν να παίξουν ευχάριστα και όλοι όσοι αγαπούν τα "area control" επιτραπέζια παιχνίδια: 3 έως 6 παίκτες μάχονται για την κυριαρχία στο βασίλειο του Westeros, βάζοντας τους στρατούς τους να συγκρουστούν ενώ ταυτόχρονα προσπαθούν με επιδέξιες διπλωματικές κινήσεις να διασφαλίσουν συμμαχίες εξαιρετικά εύθραυστες.
ΥΠΕΡ:
-Μπορούν να παίξουν πολλοί παίκτες ταυτόχρονα
-Μεγάλη αγωνία μέχρι την ανάδειξη του νικητή- μπορεί να αλλάξει ο νικητής κάθε στιγμή
-Απουσία του παράγοντα "τύχη" στις μάχες -δεν υπάρχει το ζάρι
-Εξαιρετική ποιότητα components
ΚΑΤΑ:
-Η διάρκειά του: ακόμα και μεταξύ έμπειρων παικτών, η διάρκεια της κάθε παρτίδας ξεπερνά τις 3 ώρες
-Σχετικά καλή γνώση αγγλικών, τουλάχιστον γι αυτόν που θα διαβάσει το manual και θα εξηγήσει το παιχνίδι στους υπόλοιπους
-(Μικρή) περίπτωση player elimination:Υπάρχει η πιθανότητα κάποιος παίκτης να βγει από το παιχνίδι πριν τελειώσει η παρτίδα
Awesome strategy game with the only small issue that it doesn't have instructions in Greek! Otherwise, possibly one of the best ever!!!

One of the best board games out there. In a good way, it is very complex, with high-quality materials. It takes time to learn the rules, but in combination with YouTube videos that are available, after about an hour, you can start playing. The minimum game duration is 3 hours.
Απ τα καλύτερα επιτραπέζια που υπάρχουν. Με την καλή έννοια πολύπλοκο, με ποιοτικά υλικά. Θέλει ώρα να μάθεις τους κανόνες αλλά σε συνδυασμό με βίντεο που κυκλοφορούν στο YouTube μετά από καμιά ωρίτσα ξεκινάς να παίζεις. Ελάχιστη ώρα παρτίδας 3 ώρες.
I have played it more than 10 times. During the first half, I didn't understand all the rules. Overall, it is heavy and you need to "keep track of"/remember a lot during the game.
For me, it shouldn't be played with fewer than 6 players! It is not balanced with fewer players. Also, some houses are a bit disadvantaged anyway. I didn't like its expansion at all.
Awesome thematically, beautiful, strategic, with almost non-existent luck factor!
The only serious drawback is that it easily lasts 5-6 hours. If its duration was 2 hours, for example, I would give it 5 stars.
Το έχω παίξει πάνω από 10 φορές. Τις πρώτες μισές δεν καταλάβαινα όλους τους κανόνες. Γενικά είναι βαρύ και θα πρέπει να "παρακολουθείς"/θυμάσαι πολλά κατά την διάρκεια του παιχνιδιού.
Για μένα δεν πρέπει να παίζεται με κάτω από 6 παίκτες! Δεν είναι ισορροπημένο με λιγότερους παίκτες. Επίσης κάποια houses είναι λίγο πιο αδικημένα έτσι κι αλλιώς. Το expansion του δεν μου άρεσε καθόλου.
Φοβερό θεματικά, πανέμορφο, στρατηγικό, με σχεδόν ανύπαρκτο τον παράγοντα τύχης!
Το μόνο σοβαρό του μειονέκτημα είναι ότι κρατάει 5-6 ώρες εύκολα. Αν η διάρκεια του ήταν 2 ώρες πχ θα έβαζα 5 αστέρια.
One of the best of its kind that I have played. It makes Risk seem like a game for babies. The problem with the excessive number of instruction pages is easily solved. Just read the basics of the game and watch a tutorial on YouTube to save a lot of time and frustration.
Απο τα καλύτερα του είδους που έχω παίξει. Κάνει το Risk να μοιάζει με παιχνίδι για νήπια. Το πρόβλημα με τις πάρα πολλές σελίδες οδηγιών λύνεται απλά. Διαβάστε μόνο τα βασικά του παιχνιδιού και δείτε tutorial στο youtube για να γλιτώσετε πολύ χρόνο και νεύρα.
