The unified Marxism was divided into two directions: the `orthodox` and the revolutionary, each of which put forth its own Marxist doctrines - that is, Marxism as a whole - subjected to destructive criticism. Under these circumstances, mysticism and the irrational elements of humanity, expelled by rationalism (...), caused a severe shock, reaching the danger of a complete bankruptcy of the scientific method.
