This book titled "Animal Feeds and Rations" aims primarily to support the teaching of the eponymous course for students of the Department of Veterinary Medicine at the School of Geotechnical Sciences of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

However, this educational aid may also be useful for anyone involved in animal nutrition in general. The content, which is mostly derived from the previously published book with the same title by Professor Alexandros V. Spais, is now presented revised and enhanced with the addition of tables of nutrient content for commonly used simple animal feeds - both internationally and in Greece.

The participation of Associate Professor P. Florou-Paneri and Assistant Professor E. Christaki has contributed to substantial changes, particularly in the classification of the material, and several additions have been made to better fulfill its mission.
