Mr. Stone and the Companions of the Knights is the story of Mr. Stone a few months before he retires from his position as a librarian in a large commercial enterprise. At this moment, although his life was tuned to a calm rhythm, Mr. Stone began to feel the thrill of a distant idea.
Indeed, Mr. Stone, this typically eccentric man, is now agitated at sixty-two years old, leaving behind his bachelor life and getting married. However, this is the least of it, as from now on he must become the servant of a crazy idea that has taken residence in his mind.
He devises an ambitious plan and convinces the company to put it into action. Ultimately, his idea proves to be very practical and profitable, and Mr. Stone tastes the euphoria of success.
