Description

Once upon a time there was an apple tree...and it loved a little boy. So begins this beautiful fairy tale that reading it leaves the taste of an unforgettable sensitivity. Every day the boy would go to the apple tree and eat its apples, he would swing on its branches, climb on its trunk...and the apple tree was happy. But as the boy grew older, he asked more and more from the tree and the tree gave, gave, gave endlessly.

It is an emotional interpretation of the gift that those who know how to give and those who know how to reciprocate with love have.

Suitable for:

For young and adult readers who appreciate stories with deep meanings, which provoke thought and touch the heart. It is ideal for starting meaningful conversations about love in all its forms, unconditional giving, gratitude (or its absence), and our often complex relationship with nature and those around us. It is a precious gift that moves, inspires reflection, and remains unforgettable for every generation of readers.

Thanks to our kindergarten teacher, we started borrowing books to read... So at some point, we came across this one... Very nice, it awakens or maybe even creates emotions that may not exist in many people... I was moved from the first time I read it and chose to get it for our library as well. It talks about selfless love and how far it can go... Truly beautiful and touching...

Very touching message. I had read this particular book years ago when I gave it as a gift to a friend's child, and now I randomly saw it and bought it for my son who is still young for it, but we will read it a little later. It goes without saying that for a book with meaningful messages to be suitable and constructive at these ages, the parent needs to spend time discussing with the child afterwards, ask them how they felt through the story, and explain to them what they should pay attention to in their relationship with the environment, nature, and people, so that they don't only take away a sad ending from it, but also an important lesson about life and their interaction with the outside world.

I think it makes sense for older ages. It's a bit...sad story. But in a child that you can explain some things, it can...give!

I expected the message to be clearer, perhaps intentionally for the reader to interpret it. I believe it has several interpretations
