At the Circus! is a work dedicated to learning the Italian language for children aged six to ten. Through a fun story set in a circus, children will learn to say their names and exchange greetings.
They will learn vocabulary related to:
- Animals
- Numbers
- Colors
- Food
- Clothes
- Body
- Nature
The goal of At the Circus! is for children to learn their first phrases in Italian naturally, through games that satisfy their expressive and creative needs, dramatizations, poems, songs, and very simple reading and writing exercises.
These activities respect their personal pace, encourage cooperation, and spark their interest in a different culture. The songs, which enhance the playful spirit and the idea of teamwork, help children acquire the correct pronunciation and intonation.
At the Circus! includes:
- The student’s book, accompanied by a multilingual glossary in the appendix (edited by: Lorenza Mazzocato).
- A comprehensive teaching guide for the teacher, available online on the Edilingua website, with additional material for photocopying to create new ideas in the classroom.
- An audio CD.
