The Schreibtraining is a practice book for written expression for the Goethe-Zertifikat B1 exam (Zertifikat Deutsch and Zertifikat Deutsch fur Jugendliche). It is aimed at teenagers and adults and can be used alongside any basic level teaching series (Grundstufe).

The first part of the book (Teil A) contains a wide variety of expressive means for friendly, semi-formal letters, and emails, as well as many consolidation exercises.
The second part of the book (Teil B) includes 20 units divided into understandable steps and with the same structure. This ensures the necessary confidence for the student as they compose their letter. With the help of exercises related to the assumed letter received, the student understands the topic and the requirements. The rich vocabulary and interesting grammar exercises help them gather the necessary material to write their letter or email without any problems.
The topics and exercises present a graded difficulty. The first part of the book can be used as early as the year before preparing for the Zertifikat exam, while the second part specifically prepares for the written expression of the Goethe-Zertifikat B1.
