This ongoing project includes initially 100 Beekeeping plants, common throughout Greece, and is the result of personal observations and photographs over a decade.
To classify a plant as "Beekeeping," I rely solely on my observations and not on literature, with the proof being the Bee that works on that specific plant. After all, there has not been a book exclusively dedicated to Beekeeping plants in Greek literature, at least, and maybe not even in foreign literature. The only exception, with limited resources in the 1960s (in densely written pages and without photographs), is the thesis of Agronomist Christos Nikolopoulos titled "Beekeeping Flora of Attica."
