The Raccontimmagini series is intended for the learning of the Italian language by foreign children (6-11 years old). It consists of 5 volumes at levels A1-A1+ according to the Common European Framework of Reference. Each book includes two illustrated stories, followed by a section of exercises and group games for reusing the vocabulary encountered. Each narrative introduces new words, phrases, and useful expressions for communication and performing simple everyday tasks.

• The story "Un carnevale speciale" narrates the children's preparations for the school's carnival celebration, introducing vocabulary related to Carnival, certain animals from Africa, clothes, and geometric shapes.
• The story "Il pupazzo di neve" presents all the children in the series trying to make Saidi, who is sick, smile by building a snowman. The narrative suggests vocabulary related to body parts, winter clothing, illnesses, and mountain sports, while also encouraging the physical description of a person, discussing the weather, and recounting past events.
